About – Punjab: A Rebel State
Since 1993, this site has been dedicated to documenting the struggles, resilience, and spirit of Punjab and its people. From the Partition of 1947, the 1966 Language Partition, the 1984 Sikh Genocide, to ongoing struggles like the SYL Canal dispute, we aim to highlight key events that shaped the state.
Our mission is to provide a platform for Punjabis to share their stories, experiences, and memories. Each submission is carefully reviewed, and with respect and accuracy, we amplify these voices to ensure the heritage, struggles, and achievements of Punjab are recognized and remembered.
Through this collective storytelling, we honor the courage of those who stood up for justice, defended their culture, and fought to preserve Punjab’s identity. We believe every story matters and contributes to the larger narrative of Punjab’s unwavering spirit.
